 Taylor Alison Swift, born 13 December 1989, is an American musician and singer. Swift was featured in the Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers of All time, Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists and Forbes Celebrity 100. Swift was given the honor of being named Artist of the Decade as and Woman of the Decade. Swift is a vocal proponent of women's empowerment as well as rights for artists. Swift's music is frequently acknowledged as having inspired the next generation of singer-songwriters.
