Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American actor and singer. Her career started when she was still a teenager. Her most well-known roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). There are three siblings and brothers. She started singing at club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her house to sing. Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model and actress, was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on April 28, 1967. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April, she was raised there. Her father is both a German American policeman and an auto salesman. Kari has three siblings. Kari was a nightclub singer when she was in her teens. Kari would get away at night to sing and entertain her friends. Kari aged 13 years old studied at the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher known as Uta. Kari started acting at the age of a teenager. Her breakthrough came in 1987 with MTV Remote Control.
