Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor best famous for her character House in the Fox medical drama House. After turning 18 years old, Lisa relocated from Wayne to New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to strict Jewish tradition. She was very active in the club scene in New York City and did enough that she was heard by the media. In the meantime, she was becoming more aware of AIDS and its devastating impacts. Eventually she used her training and fame to write and compose the musical Positive Me and was also in the film. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on films and television productions at first in small roles. She gradually established her place as an actor.
