Santa Fe Preparatory School, where she was a graduate in 1986. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and graduated with an honors degree in the year 1990. Gunn went to the British American Drama Academy, in which she enrolled for a year in 1988. She shared a home with Pamela Adlon after moving to Laurel Canyon Los Angeles. Gunn is most well-known for her character Skyler White in AMC Drama Breaking. In the years 2013, and 2014 she was awarded a nomination in the category of Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Artist in the Drama Series. The New York Times published an article in August 2013 in which they discussed the criticisms of her role.
